Sorin Group offers a wide spectrum of solutions for the full integration of the Holter system into variable and heterogeneous conditions of hospital networking and information systems. Network and internet connectivity, additional workstations or additional card reading points and management of a variety of archiving solutions are part of the Holter product portfolio.

 

SyneCom™: Holter transfer software

SyneCom™ provides easy, cost-effective and secure transmission of Holter recordings via an existing e-mail connection.

It has been especially designed for the needs of medical group practices with multiple offices, analysis centers, hospital groups, and core laboratories performing clinical trials. SyneCom™ can be used in any situation where patient hook-up and recording are performed at one location, and analysis at another.

 

Internet option for SyneScope and EasyScope

 

With the internet option, the transmission of Holter recordings is fully automatic, using an existing email connection. Data are transferred with a mouse click, without need to exit the Holter application to browse through the hard disk directories.

Sending clinical and patient data via Internet might be restricted by local laws. We have, therefore, adopted the 3 “golden rules” of Internet software:

 

Confidentiality: All patient identification data are encrypted by the Holter software before being sent to the Internet.

 

Security: All data received from the Internet are checked and compared with the original data (integrity control). Any interference with the sending process can therefore be detected and refused by the system. All files have an electronic signature to exclude file mismatching. There is no manual file transfer by the user.

 

Authentication: The user analyzing the recording electronically signs the report before sending the data out to another system.
